Our company always makes 3d and 2d files for it's inroads files since inroads needs the 3d files but no one could get the 3d files to work right so they made 2d files. I'm trying to stop this but frankly I'm having problems also. If I'm messing around and want to draw a line from the center of a curved alignment perpendicular to a 3d feature how do I do this and keep it at z=0? My ACS is set to 0,0,0. I've tried turning on acs lock, acs snap lock, sticky z in the accudraw settings, nothing works. I can get the first point to be at 0 but not the second. Can someone please give me some tips as we don't really draw in 3d only use inroads this way.
