Here's my background. I have had the "Bentley Architectural Build As One" (BAO) Select Service subscription. With that subscription, I can install and use Microstation and then optionally install Bentley Architecture. In actuality, we looked at the Architecture once or twice, but do not have it installed on any computers right now.
Here's my question. The BAO is being upgraded to AECOsim Building Designer. Can I run a copy of plain Microstation using the license for AECOsim Building Designer? Or do I have to use the AECOsim Building Designer only for that license?
And just you want to complete the story... In this upgrade, they've added a Microstation subscription as well as the AECOsim subscription. This is nice because I potentially have access to more seats, but at the same time I'm paying twice on this license. Once I have all the information I will have to ask my boss if he wants to pay for both licenses (probably not), kill the AECOsim and keep the Mstn, or kill the Mstn and keep the AECO. If we can run Mstn under the AECO license, he'd probably kill the stand-alone Mstn and keep the AECO.
