Forum Post: Editing Reference Model.

Dear Forum:

I'm new to v8I.  I did notice there is a new function to edit a reference model through Reference|Attach:Activate.  My question is when I reference a 3-D model and activate it, MS doesn't show the the model as it is.  It shows the main boundary/lines and that is it.  Am I missing something?

To recreate this case:

Try to open a simple MS file.  Then, make a reference to one of the 3-D example files, say, the (3-D surface) dgn.  Activate it and see what happens.
