We're having strange problems with PCS-based penetrations, and filed som SR's against them.
One of them is that we never have managed to get the perforation and the visible objects to be in the same place. The cut in the slab and the symbols in 2D and 3D were slightly out of sync.
Another thing is forward view resymbolization. Sometimes invisible parts of the perforator shadowed the edge of the penetration, resulting in invisible penetrations in forward views.
Another issue we had was that slabs became corrupt. To be honest, I also have managed that with "normal" cuts through slabs.
Finally - PCS is a steep learning curve. The first 2 times I tried it, I simply gave up.
So - yes, I am really looking forward to something new, which could replace both PCS and the parametric frame builder.
