Microstation V8 2004 edition on a Windows 7 Professional (service pack 1) on a 64 bit OS
I work with Microstation 2004 daily and have been dealing with this issue for about 5 years. I am sick of looking everywhere and finding nothing written about this stuff.
Same problem as JDJATKHA with his HARD TIME DOING BASIC COMMANDS post. The aperature floats around and snaps to points out in space when trying to perform a trim command or an extend command. So utterly frustrating and annoying....and the answers given to fix this problem DO NOT FIX THIS PROBLEM. My tolerance in the coordinates tab from the Accudraw menu has always been set to 10 which is the answer by Inga. The only way i have been able to work around this is to stretch whatever line I am trying to trim or extend, then the aperature will snap to the correct lines and I am able to trim/extend. Add that extra step to about 400 times you have to trim/extend during a normal work day and realize how rediculous this glitch is. JDJATKHA posts:
I turned off accudraw and the problem went away BUT I use accudraw too much not to have it up
EXACTLY!!
