ok export your excel worksheet to csv or comma delimited text.
In the macros example files delivered by bentley there is a table.bas macro which will create a text table from text file.
It has loads of parameters/settings including colours of lines etc it still works in v8i but will probably take you a few attempts before you get it looking the way you want ie font sizes colours spacing etc... .. it is not linked to excel but produces exactly what you have shown in your example as text and lines not a raster or linked excel file ....its still great for text tables but a little old school for some users....
