We are using Microstation V8i SS3 and Power InRoads V8i SS3.
We have been given some dwg files from our client to re-format to dgn files. We have found that by opening the dwg file inside Microstation, that we have options to set just below the Open/Cancel selector, see attached image. Once the options are set, we can save them to a " *.dws " options file for easy reference. Once the dwg file is open as a "Autodesk(R) DWG Files" we can performa a Save-As to create the dgn formatted file. This above described workflow apppears to be the preferred method since the "Options" selection has been made available by Bentley to control dwg to dgn translation choices. Does anyone have any additional thoughts or confirmation of the above described workflow for converting dwg to dgn files?
