When you tell STAAD to select a beam after running an analysis, does it take into account the beta angle applied? For example, if I am loading a 6x4x.25 HSS tube on its weak axis and STAAD tells me I am permitted to use an HSS5x3x.25, is staad analyzing this selected beam on its strong axis? or weak axis as I have it oriented?
